Bank of East Asia extends hours of Shenzhen Futian Port sub-branch

It is now open on Saturdays from 10 AM to 5PM.

The Bank of East Asia (BEA) has extended the business hours of the Shenzhen Futian Port sub-branch to Saturdays until 2 September to provide wealth management services for northbound Hong Kong residents.

The branch is located opposite the Futian Port Joint Inspection Building and can be reached after passing customs for Hong Kong residents traveling from Lok Ma Chau MTR Station to mainland China.

It is open from Mondays to Fridays from 9AM to 5PM, and on Saturdays from 10AM to 5PM, except on statutory holidays.

The Futian Port sub branch will provide customers with dedicated relationship manager service in a comfortable environment to realise their financial goals, as well as access to services such as personal banking, currency exchange, and RMB service accounts, BEA said.

In addition, BEA’s Sheung Shui Branch has also extended business hours to seven days a week, operating on Saturday to Sunday from 1PM to 5PM. The branches will reportedly provide personal account opening and general enquiry services, although cash transactions will not be available on weekends.
