Hang Seng Bank appoints George Siu-Kay Leung as senior advisor

He was formerly the CEO of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.

Hang Seng Bank announced the appointment of George Siu-Kay Leung as Senior Advisor in the Chief Executive’s Office starting 1 January 2024.

Prior to his appointment, Leung was Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce from May 2020 until August 2023.

Leung was also advisor to the Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited since 2005.

Leung will be responsible for the bank’s strategic directions in Hong Kong and the Mainland, with particular emphasis on the Greater Bay Area.
