Chow Tai Fook in talks with potential investors, New World says

New World confirms no proposal involves a general offer.

New World Development Company Limited issued a clarification announcement on 30 January 2026 stating that Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited (CTFE) has been approached by several potential investors and has received proposals regarding potential investments in the company.

The company said CTFE is engaged in ongoing discussions with these potential investors, but no agreement has been reached on the amount, nature or form of any potential investment, and there is no assurance that any such investment will proceed, according to the press release.

New World said CTFE indicated that none of the proposals is intended to result in a general offer being made for the company’s shares as at the date of the announcement.

The company said it is not aware of any other information that must be announced to avoid a false market in its securities or any inside information that needs to be disclosed under the Listing Rules.
