Tech funding holds steady at $391.4m in April
Funding was unchanged from March but rose 71.96% YoY, with Botinkit accounting for the month’s top deal.
Hong Kong tech companies raised $391.4m (US$50.0m) in April 2026, unchanged from the previous month, according to Tracxn’s monthly funding tracker.
The figure was 71.96% higher than the $227.8m (US$29.1m) raised in April 2025.
All funding recorded in April came from early-stage rounds. The month’s top deal was Botinkit, which raised $391.4m (US$50.0m).
No new unicorns emerged during the month. Hong Kong also recorded no IPOs or acquisitions in April 2026.
Funding remained below recent highs, including $2.6b (US$332m) in December 2025 and $1.7b (US$221m) in January 2026.
