Midea raises $31b IPO and listing on the HKSE

This made it the largest listing since 2022.

Chinese appliance maker Midea Group raised $31.2b (~US$4b) on its Initial Public Offering (IPO) and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The company said this marks the largest IPO in Hong Kong and the largest listing by a China-based company globally since 2022. 

"This is also the second largest listing globally to date in 2024," it added.
