Equity and tech funding drops 18.99% MoM to $137m in January

Equity and tech funding dropped 18.99% month-on-month (MoM) and rose 5.81% year-on-year in January to $137m, Tracxn reported.
Late-stage funding dominated the funding trend for the period at 73.3%, followed by seed-stage funding (16.5%), and early-stage funding (10.3%).
Top deals include Insilico’s $100m, Humanity Protocol’s $20m, and SignalPlus’ $11m.
The top investors include Value Partners, AppWorks, and Betatron Venture Group.
Pudong Venture, AppWorks, and Pantera Capital were the top VC investors, whilst Plug and Play Tech Center and GBV Capital were the top incubators during the period.
