MSIG USA expands political risk insurance with Asia partnership

This combines MSIG USA’s underwriting expertise with regional market knowledge.

MSIG USA has partnered with MSIG Singapore and MSIG Hong Kong to expand its political risk and trade credit insurance business in Asia. 

The partnership combines MSIG USA’s underwriting expertise with the regional market knowledge of MSIG Singapore and MSIG Hong Kong.

MSIG USA CEO Peter McKenna stated that the expansion is a strategic step to provide tailored risk management solutions for international businesses. Clemens Philippi, CEO of MSIG Asia, emphasised that the initiative aligns with MSIG’s regional growth strategy, 

enhancing its ability to offer comprehensive risk solutions.

Dan Riordan, head of Political Risk and Trade Credit at MSIG USA, noted that the partnership will enable the company to offer localised expertise and better meet the needs of multinational clients.
