HSBC Life HK nabs ex-Zurich APAC CEO for chief product and in-force officer

Geoffrey Au spent 10 years with Zurich Insurance Group APAC.

HSBC Life Hong Kong has appointed Geoffrey Au as chief product and in-force officer, effective 25 October 2024.

Au is tasked with developing new products and propositions, as well as managing the firm’s existing portfolio to improve product performance and fulfill customer expectations.

He will report directly to Daisy Tsang, CEO of HSBC Life Hong Kong and Macau.

Prior to his new role with HSBC Life Hong Kong, Au has assumed senior leadership roles in the US, Hong Kong, and India.

Prior to HSBC Life, Geoffrey spent 10 years with Zurich Insurance Group in the Asia Pacific region, and was most recently CEO of Zurich Life Insurance (Hong Kong).
