Bupa names Fiona Harris as new managing director in Hong Kong

She will begin her new role beginning 3 October.

Bupa Hong Kong appointed Fiona Harris as Managing Director, effective from 3 October. She will succeed Andrew Merrilees, who is departing the company after five years.

Harris brings more than three decades of experience in the healthcare sector, with 30 years at Bupa, including 17 years in leadership roles within the UK Health Insurance business.

Harris’ extensive knowledge equips her to adeptly navigate the healthcare industry, emphasising patient-centric care and promoting innovation and technology adoption to support customer needs.

As the new Managing Director, Harris will oversee Bupa Hong Kong and Quality HealthCare Medical Services toward a future of growth, with a focus on providing customer support and care. This appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
