Bowtie expands VHIS benefits with histotripsy at Gleneagles

The hospital is also “Asia's first private hospital to offer Histotripsy treatment”.

Hong Kong-based Bowtie and Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong (Gleneagles) partnered to enhance the "Bowtie & Gleneagles Hospital Wellness Package" by integrating Histotripsy treatment into its VHIS rider under the Bowtie VHIS Flexi Plan and Bowtie Pink.

The hospital is also “Asia's first private hospital to offer Histotripsy treatment”, a press release said.

The upgrade is effective immediately, allowing existing policyholders of Bowtie's VHIS plans who have opted for the "Gleneagles Hospital Wellness Package" to receive full reimbursement for Histotripsy treatment.

The package also covers 249 designated "all-inclusive fixed price medical packages" offered by Gleneagles.
