bolttech secures $50m venture debt from HSBC, expands market

HSBC has been a partner of bolttech since 2019.

bolttech secured a $50m venture debt facility from HSBC to support it’s growth initiatives, including market expansion, strengthening its technology and product capabilities, and improving operational flexibility.

HSBC, a partner to bolttech since 2019, has supported the company’s operations across more than 14 countries through various banking and financing services.

This multi-year, credit facility allows bolttech to capitalise on the growing embedded insurance market, with HSBC serving as the sole lender.

bolttech said the venture debt facility aligns with HSBC's broader strategy of offering financial solutions to tech-driven and innovation-focused businesses, complementing its banking and advisory services for growth-stage companies in sectors like technology and life sciences.
