
AIA taps Mark Tucker as independent non-executive director and chairman
He will succeed Edmund Sze-Wing.
AIA has appointed Mark Tucker as independent non-executive chairman and independent non-executive director, effective from 1 October.
Tucker has also been appointed chairman of the nomination committee and a member of the remuneration committee, also effective from 1 October.
He will succeed Edmund Sze-Wing, who will retire from his positions on 30 September.
Tucker has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry across Asia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Africa.
He will complete his tenure as non-executive group chairman of HSBC on 30 September.
