AIA Hong Kong boosts insurance plans with Concord Healthcare access

It is part of their employee well-being programme.

AIA Hong Kong and Macau has partnered with Concord Healthcare, a China-based group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, to expand access to cancer care for its insured members.

Announced on 11 September, the partnership gives eligible members of AIA’s designated group insurance plans access to cancer proton therapy and health screening packages at preferential rates at Guangzhou Concord Cancer Centre, a facility known for advanced cancer treatment.

AIA said the move aims to ease the financial burden of treatment and improve access to care, noting that a new cancer case is diagnosed in Hong Kong every 15 minutes.

The partnership is part of AIA’s “WorkWell with AIA” programme, which supports employee well-being through broader healthcare benefits.
