Pinsent Masons launches training platform for freelancers
The company has partnered with performance management platform Bridge.
Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has launched training platform Vario Advance to support its flexible services professionals.
Pinsent Masons will offer new online training to selected members of its flexible services population comprised of freelance lawyers, paralegals, and other professional services consultants. Content offered on the platform will be supplementary to the traditional, in-person, training already offered by the firm.
The majority of the content available is prepared by experts at Pinsent Masons and supplemented by external specialists.
The platform will include 24/7 access to all modules, mobile access, a searchable content library, and an information management reporting suite, which will allow Pinsent Masons to monitor engagement and adjust and create future modules accordingly. Access to the content will be made available to all freelancers on assignment or those who have worked with Pinsent Masons Vario in the past year.
“We believe we are one of the first – if not the first – contract lawyering provider to offer flexible training on this scale. The combination of an innovative ALSP with a leading global law firm means that we benefit from the infrastructure, knowledge and expertise of Pinsent Masons. It’s because of this that we are now able to offer Vario Advance. We believe this significantly differentiates us in the market and will be highly attractive to the freelance legal community,” said Matthew Kay, managing director of Vario at Pinsent Masons.
