Hang Seng Bank, CityUHK launch tech innovation programme
It will focus on three key areas.
Hang Seng Bank and the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) have launched the "Hang Seng x CityUHK HK Tech 300 Innovation Programme," aiming to accelerate the growth of local startups and develop talent in the innovation and technology sector.
The programme will focus on three key areas, such as Innovative Research Application, Market Connectivity, and Sustainability and Talent Development.
Hang Seng Bank will provide business advisory services, mentorship, and proof-of-concept projects to foster innovation.
The collaboration will also include co-hosting regular business networking and matching sessions, industry workshops, and seminars at CityUHK's coworking space. Additionally, Hang Seng will grant HK Tech 300 companies access to its innovation ecosystem.
CityUHK and Hang Seng will also explore initiatives to develop talent in sustainability, including a specialised two-credit course on sustainable finance for students enrolled in the university's master of business administration programme.
The university will further offer executive programmes in areas such as environmental, social, and governance, leadership, and innovation, supporting the upskilling of Hang Seng employees.
