HK to cooperate on labour inspection and enforcement with Guangdong

Hong Kong will conduct a Training Co-operation Agreement on Labour Inspection and Enforcement with Guangdong.

The agreement was signed by Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung and the Director of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, Mr Ou Zhenzhi.

On the basis of the Framework Agreement on Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation, the Training Co-operation Agreement provides that Hong Kong and Guangdong will take turns to organise each year a training programme on labour inspection and enforcement from 2011 to 2016 to enable law-enforcement officers in both places to understand the respective systems and exchange experiences.
