InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong appoints Alexander O. Wassermann as general manager

InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Alexander O. Wassermann to the position of General Manager.

A German hotelier with extensive global experience, Mr. Wassermann returns to the hotel after his departure in 2010 as Hotel Manager. He has spent more than 22 years working in the hotel industry and has held senior management roles in China, Dubai, Egypt, Jordan, Germany and USA for respected international hotel brands such as Kempinski, Steigenberger, Hilton and Mövenpick. The last 7 years of his career have been spent with the InterContinental Hotels Group where he acted as Area General Manager for Shandong Province and General Manager for InterContinental Qingdao. Mr. Wassermann has successfully established the hotel as the premier 5-star luxury property in Qingdao.

His most recent posting was with the InterContinental Beijing Beichen, where in his role as General Manager as well as the Area General Manager, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, North China.
