HK passport holders to enjoy longer stay in Albania, Uganda

Hongkongers can stay in the two countries visa-free for up to 90 days.

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport holders can now enter and stay in Albania and Uganda for up to 90 days.

Previously, Hongkongers could enter and stay in Albania visa-free for 14 days.

Both countries are involved in the Belt & Road Initiative and the new arrangements will bring greater travel convenience to Hong Kong SAR passport holders, besides strengthening tourism, cultural, and economic ties between the places.

Currently, 168 countries and territories have granted visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to Hong Kong SAR passport holders.
