Hospital Authority to resolve medical-staff shortages

Dr York Chow, Secretary for Food & Health, urged the Hospital Authority to work with the College of Physicians to find solutions to medical-staff shortages.

According to Hong Kong Information Services Department, Dr Chow said that the authority will collaborate with frontline representatives and doctors' unions. Dr Chow also said that they must review the promition aspects of certan specialties, particularly the internal medicine specialty, because wastage in that area is getting worse.
