HKIC, New Frontier Group partner to drive GBA medical innovation
One of the key focuses is fostering AI-driven healthcare technologies.
Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited (HKIC) and New Frontier Group have partnered to boost cross-border medical research and clinical applications in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The collaboration will leverage Hong Kong’s medical research capabilities, healthcare infrastructure, and international networks to foster innovation and development in the healthcare sector. Key areas of focus will include enhancing healthcare collaboration, fostering AI-driven healthcare technologies, and supporting clinical research.
The partnership will introduce the "Hong Kong R&D - GBA Transformation" model, facilitating the exchange of advanced diagnostic solutions and medical technologies. New Frontier Group will work to promote the adoption of Hong Kong’s medical innovations in the GBA, and vice versa, while attracting international medical talent to the region.
The two organisations will also establish an international medical research platform, investing in clinical trials and Contract Research Organisations (CROs) to commercialise medical solutions.
Moreover, AI, smart technologies, and robotics will be integrated into healthcare services to personalize care and create a forward-looking health management model in Hong Kong.
