Swire Properties extends $8m incentives to boost HK vaccine drive
Hong Kongers may have a chance to win $10,000 worth of shopping vouchers.
Swire Properties will be offering $8m in incentives to help the Hong Kong government in its bid to speed up its vaccination rate.
Hong Kongers who have been fully vaccinated may enter a lucky draw to win a shopping spree at Swire Properties’ malls in the city; whilst the company’s staff will be entitled to shopping coupons worth $2,000 on top of a special rest day.
"Increasing the vaccination rate is the only way to end the pandemic. We are eager to do our part by launching a host of incentives that support the HKSAR Government's vaccination efforts,” Swire Properties Chief Executive Guy Bradley said.
“We want to help our staff, help our tenants and help the people of Hong Kong with the aim of getting our city back on track.”
This followed the launching of the “Early Vaccination for All” campaign of the Hong Kong government that encourages granting workers a day of leave for each time they receive a dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
For the lucky draw, 500 HKID holders will have the chance of winning $10,000 worth of shopping vouchers that can be used in any of its malls, including Pacific Place, Cityplaza and Citygate Outlets.
HKID holders and Swire Pacific staff are entitled to join, provided they are fully vaccinated by the end of August 2021.
