Jeremy Lau appointed head of corporate business in Hong Kong for Zurich Insurance Group

Lau will develop corporate and commercial business in Hong Kong.

He joined Zurich as chief pricing actuary for the global corporate business in Asia-Pacific in 2007 and was appointed regional finance business partner for the unit in April 2011.

Lau reports to Eric Hui, CEO for Zurich's GI business in Hong Kong and Keith Thomas, CEO for Zurich's global corporate business in the Asia-Pacific region

Hui said that over the last six years Zurich have grown significantly in the corporate segment in Hong Kong. Zurich’s business now has the underwriting expertise, authority, underwriting services, risk engineering and deep claims capability to support its position as a corporate insurer in Hong Kong.
