Ernst & Young appoints Keith Pogson as Asia-Pacific Financial Services Leader
Pogson is the Vice President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He will lead Ernst & Young’s Financial Service Practice in Asia Pacific, a multi-disciplinary practice of approximately 2,500 professional staff specifically serving the Financial Services Industry.
Pogson has been in the region for over 15 years and has a deep knowledge of the issues faced both by companies entering the region and those from the region looking to expand. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, he has more than 20 years of extensive investment and commercial banking and financial services experience.
The Managing Partner has worked with many regulators and governments in the region on regulatory and market reform initiatives and has significant experience with financial institutions in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Korea, Macau, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and elsewhere.
Pogson has particular expertise in assisting companies make acquisitions and / or entry strategies in Asian markets. He has led a substantial number of due diligences in the financial sector, particularly in the banking, asset management and securities sectors in Mainland China.
