Warning issued on bogus website akin to Royal Bank of Scotland site

Be on the lookout for https://www.rbsfx.co.uk.

The Monetary Authority has issued an alert on a fraudulent website with the domain name https://www.rbsfx.co.uk, which looks similar to the official Royal Bank of Scotland site.

The bank has clarified it has no connection with the fraudulent website.

It has reported the case to Police.

People who have provided personal information to, or conducted financial transactions through, the website should contact the bank at 3988 7050 or Police
