New payment systems integrated into Kai Tak Sports Park

More than 300 payment terminals have so far been installed.

A new payment ecosystem is being built at Kai Tak Sports Park to support on-site operations from stadium facilities to retail shops, said its partner Global Payments.

As of 23 June, 310 payment terminals were installed across Kai Tak Sports Park to support self-service reservations, POS systems, and app-to-app payments. Another 50 terminals are expected in the first half of 2025.

The system connects online and offline transactions through tokenisation technology, providing convenient venue booking, dining and retail services.

International and local payment methods including credit cards, E-wallets, and Faster Payment System amongst others are supported by Global Payments in the park.
