Hang Seng Bank's mobile branch facilitates remote banking services

It serves residents in three public housing estates.

Hang Seng Bank is making it easier for residents in the public housing estates of Kai Ching Estate in Kai Tak, On Tat Estate in Kwun Tong and Hung Fuk Estate in Yuen Long to access banking services with the launch of its mobile branch last December 2017, according to a press release.

The branch stations two members of service staff to provide general banking assistance to residents including account opening, cash deposit and withdrawal, fund transfer, cheque deposit, passbook update and currency exchange.

“Hang Seng strives to provide customers with convenient banking services through a comprehensive range of service channels. We are delighted to have opened our first Mobile Branch, which enables us to better serve the basic banking needs of the local community in remote areas and further promote financial inclusion,” said Hang Seng Chief Executive Louisa Cheang.

The branch is stationed in Kai Tak, Kwun Tong and Yuen Long on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays respectively.
