Gov’t sets up platform for green maritime fuel bunkering

It aims to gather key stakeholders for fuel supply chain talks.

The Hong Kong government established a communication platform for the green maritime fuel bunkering supply chain in the city.

The government called this platform the Green Maritime Fuel Development Communication Platform.

Twenty-five companies and industry organisations joined the platform, Secretary for Transport & Logistics Mable Chan said.

The communication platform will bring together upstream and downstream companies within the green maritime fuel bunkering supply chain, including fuel suppliers, shipping companies, and port operators, amongst others, the government said.

It will also gather views from members about green fuel bunkering and trading in Hong Kong, and will organise networking activities and business meetings to enhance stakeholder communication and cooperation.
