Six in 10 HK professionals forecast economic growth next year

51% expect their company's revenue to increase.

More than six in 10 (63%) Hong Kong professionals anticipate economic growth whilst 51% predict that their company's revenue will grow in 2025, according to CPA Australia's survey.

The survey also found that Hong Kong's tax system (31%) ranks as the largest positive contributor to the city's economic and business environment by next year. Over 60% expect the value of funds raised in Hong Kong through initial public offerings to increase.

Respondents said their company will increase investment in advanced technologies (38%), sales and marketing (37%) and expansion outside of Hong Kong (36%).

To support expansion plans, 57% expect their companies to increase headcount whilst 62% are forecasting a salary increase.
