Jobless rate falls to 3.7%
Underemployment also eased to 1.6%.
Seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.7% in the January to March 2026 period, reflecting a slight improvement in the labour market.
The rate declined from 3.8% in the three months from December 2025 to February 2026, according to the Census & Statistics Department.
The underemployment rate also fell to 1.6% from 1.7% over the same period.
Total employment decreased by 7,300 to 3,655,700, whilst the labour force fell by around 5,300 to 3,792,400.
