Hong Kong to disburse remaining vouchers in July

This will inject $13b of purchasing power into the market.

The Hong Kong government will disburse the second instalment of the consumption voucher, starting 16 July.

Financial Secretary Paul Chan said the new round of disbursement will inject a total of $13b worth of purchasing power into the market.

“In tandem with the series of events launched under the 'Happy Hong Kong' campaign and the spending season in the summer holidays, I believe it will accelerate the economic recovery,” he said.
