HKTDC outlines priorities to boost global business, C&E hub

Amongst the focus areas is strengthening presence in the GBA.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has announced its key objectives for 2024-2025 to solidify Hong Kong's position as a premier global business and investment hub and a leading convention and exhibition (C&E) centre.

Amongst the focus areas include strengthening Hong Kong's presence within the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and integrating into national development. This involves opening business support centres, launching version 2.0 of the GoGBA program, enhancing the promotion of infrastructure and real estate services, and organizing various events.

The HKTDC also aims to connect Hong Kong with opportunities in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and beyond.

Additionally, it seeks to accelerate the development of Hong Kong's pillar and new sectors, focusing on information and technology, sustainability, and wellness.

Lastly, the HKTDC aims to reinforce the city's role as a global business hub and C&E centre by staging 40 large-scale international exhibitions and conferences, introducing two new trade fairs, and enhancing digital offerings of exhibitions and conferences.
