Property sales dip 0.8% MoM in July

A total of 7,271 sale and purchase agreements for all building units were recorded in July.

The Land Registry recorded 7,271 sale and purchase agreements in July, a 0.8% drop compared with June, but 37.1% higher year on year (YoY).

The total consideration for such agreements in July dropped 17.8% from the previous month to $54.6b, but still a 28% increase YoY.

Amongst all the agreements, 5,766 were for residential units, a 3.2% decrease from June and a 54.9% surge YoY.

The total consideration for residential units recorded $46.4b, a 24.1% drop compared with June but a 29.9% rise YoY.
