
URA welcomes Donald Choi as its new managing director
He will serve for three years.
The government has appointed Donald Choi as the Urban Renewal Authority’s (URA) managing director for a term of three years effective 15 June.
Choi will be succeeding Wai Chi-sing who will be retiring.
Choi is an architect with extensive knowledge of local land and housing planning, the property market, historic building conservation, green buildings, and innovative construction techniques.
“I am confident that Mr Choi will lead the URA management in furthering the important task of urban renewal, as well as effectively handling the challenges of building decay while maintaining the financial sustainability of the URA,” Bernadette Linn, secretary for Development said.
