Lands Department offers four sites to brownfield operators via tender

Lots in North District, Yuen Long, Tai Po will be tendered for brownfield firms.

Four pieces of government land in North District, Yuen Long, and Tai Po will be let by way of short-term tenancy through tender to eligible brownfield operators.

The sites to be let are suitable for industrial use, open storage, workshop, recovery and recycling or reprocessing businesses, and paid public carparks, the Lands Department announced.

Brownfield operators affected by the land resumption and clearance exercises before or within the fourth quarter of 2028 under relevant government development projects may submit their tenders from now until 19 November.

Brownfield operators that were invited for short-term tenancy two or more times after the completion of clearance exercises of government projects are excluded from this tender, the department added.
