Land exchange applications open for Yuen Long South NDA

Deadline for submissions is 19 May 2025.

The Lands Department has issued Practice Note No. 2/2025, inviting in-situ land exchange applications for the second phase of the Yuen Long South New Development Area (YLS NDA).

This round covers two industrial sites totaling 4.9 hectares, mainly for logistics and storage use. The application deadline is 19 May 2025, and the deadline for accepting a binding basic terms offer (with premium) is 19 May 2026.

Applicants can opt for standard rates for premium assessment, with the rates to be announced later this year.

The government also said that if an application cannot be finalized by the specified deadline, it will proceed with land resumption and construction work to ensure that the overall development timeline of the YLS NDA remains on track.
