Hotel investments surge to $2.7b in 9M 2025
Hotel COZi Harbour View's sale price of nearly $2b made up for most of the amount.
Hong Kong's hotel investment volume soared to $2.7b (US$456.6m) in the first three quarters of 2025, according to JLL.
This was primarily due to the landmark sale of Hotel COZi Harbour View, priced at nearly $2b.
Across the Asia-Pacific region, JLL revised its 2025 total hotel transaction volume forecast slightly down from $75.7b (USD12.8b) to $70.4b (US$11.9b).
In contrast, the investment momentum is projected to strengthen significantly in 2026, with total investment volumes expected to rise by over 10% to $78.6b (US$13.3b).
Supporting this outlook, APAC international arrivals rose 11% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, reaching 92% of pre-COVID levels.
