Hongkong Land’s Central portfolio achieves LEED Platinum rating

The company owns 27% of Hong Kong's LEED EBOM Platinum-certified buildings in Hong Kong.

Hongkong Land achieved LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance (LEED EBOM) Platinum ranking for all its Central portfolio buildings.

Hongkong Land owns 27% of Hong Kong's LEED EBOM Platinum-certified buildings, making it the largest single owner of such properties in the city.

Hongkong Land achieved energy efficiency standards by retrofitting existing buildings. 

The developer's offices also landed within the top 15 percentile of Grade-A offices in Hong Kong and the top 10 percentile amongst buildings with office and retail components. 

As part of its sustainability Framework 2030, the company has set science-based targets approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), aiming to reduce 46.2% of emissions by 2030 from 2019 levels.
