Hongkong Land debuts on Dow Jones Sustainability World Index

The company ranked amongst the top 6% in the property sector.

Hongkong Land has been recognised as a sustainability leader, making its debut on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and ranking amongst the top 6% of global performers in sustainability in the sector.

It has also attained the largest year-on-year increase in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment amongst all performers within the index.

Guided by its Sustainability Framework 2030, the company has set clear, science-based emission reduction targets.

As of May 2024, Hongkong Land has reduced Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 32% from a 2019 baseline, surpassing the halfway line of the committed 2030 carbon reduction targets.

Founded in 1889, Hongkong Land is a major listed property investment, management, and development group.

The group focuses on developing, owning, and managing ultra-premium mixed-use real estate in Asian gateway cities, featuring Grade A office, luxury retail, residential, and hospitality products.
