HKEX unit approves three warehouses in Yuen Long

The three new warehouses will provide efficient delivery options to market participants.

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing (HKEX) subsidiary, London Metal Exchange (LME), has approved the applications to designate three warehouses in Yuen Long as approved warehouses.

Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Christopher Hui said that the three new warehouses will provide efficient delivery options to market participants in international metal trading.

He added that in under nine months, the number of LME-approved warehouses in Hong Kong has increased to 11.
