Gov’t registers 14 land transactions in 4Q23

The transactions realised a total land premium of $492m.

The government registered 14 lease modifications, one land exchange, and one lot extension in 4Q23, with three technical changes involving no premium.

Amongst the transactions, four are in Hong Kong Island, eight are in Kowloon, and five are in the New Territories.

The private treaty also granted a lot to the City University of Hong Kong during the development of a student hostel in Shek Kip Mei.

The land transactions realised a total land premium of about $42m.
