Gov't grants Aid group use of historical buildings

Include two buildings constructed in 1921 with site area of 1,046.8 sq. mt.

Two historical buildings constructed in 1921 with a site area 1,046.8 sq. m. at No. 4 Hospital Road will be granted to GX Foundation, including land, according to the Government.

Chief Executive-in-Council approved the Grade 2 historic building, including a five-story main building and a single-story annex building, for office use by private treaty at a nominal premium of $1,000.

GX Foundation is an international humanitarian assistance organisation in Hong Kong.

The organisation is required to seek Antiquities & Monuments Office’s approval for any works in the buildings; no operation except internal repair should be carried out.
