Cheung Sha Wan business site sold at $2.97b

Bonson Holdings bought the area.

The tenders for two sites have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $3.18 billion, the Lands Department announced.

The business site at the junction of Wing Hong Street, Yu Chau West Street and Wing Ming Street in Cheung Sha Wan was awarded to Bonson Holdings for $2.97 billion.

It has a site area of 2,873 sq m and is designated for non-residential purposes (excluding hotel, petrol station and residential care home).

The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 20,686 and 34,476 sq m, including Government accommodation of a refuse collection point to be constructed by the purchaser.

The residential site in Demarcation District No. 332 Lantau at Cheung Sha was awarded to Golden United Development for $210 million.

It has a site area of 2,480 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes.

The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 596 and 992 sq m.
