ifc mall attains certification from the US Green Building Council

The establishment is the first mall to receive such recognition in Hong Kong.

ifc mall attained a Platinum Certification of “LEED v4.1 Operations and Maintenance: Existing Buildings” from the U.S. Green Building Council, making them the first mall in Hong Kong to receive such recognition.

The shopping destination also received Platinum Certification of BEAM Plus from The Hong Kong Green Building Council Limited.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is the world’s most widely used green building rating system. 

Meanwhile, BEAM Plus is an assessment scheme founded by BEAM Society Limited and certified by The Hong Kong Green Building Council. 

It assesses the overall building quality, including project planning, design, construction, certification, management, operation and maintenance.
ifc mall has proactively implemented a range of green transformations covering design, building technology, property, waste management, and energy management to promote sustainability in the community.
