HKSTP launches search for San Tin Technopole development partners

The Technopole is expected to provide high-quality, sustainable infrastructure tailored for global and local technology enterprises.

The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has launched an Invitation for Interest (IFI) from potential development partners for the San Tin Technopole, a major component of the city's Northern Metropolis blueprint aimed at transforming the region into an international innovation and technology (I&T) hub.

According to a press release issued by HKSTP, the organisation is seeking expressions of interest from private sector developers to participate in the planning and construction of new research, office, and support facilities across an estimated 30-hectare site.

The Technopole is expected to provide high-quality, sustainable infrastructure tailored for global and local technology enterprises.

The initiative supports Hong Kong’s broader Northern Metropolis Development Strategy, which focuses on integrating innovation, sustainability, and economic diversification in the region near the border with mainland China.

HKSTP stated that shortlisted developers from the IFI process may be invited to take part in further tendering or negotiations.
