Equinix invests $124m in sixth data centre in Hong Kong

It will offer 3,550 cabinets.

Equinix, Inc. will invest $124m for its purpose-built International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) data centre in Hong Kong called HK6.

The data centre's first phase will open in Q1 2026 with 1,000 cabinets, expanding to 3,550 cabinets upon completion.

HK6 will be 100% covered by renewables like Equinix's other data centres in Hong Kong.
