2 New Territories home sites up for grabs

It must yield 790 homes.

According to a release, two New Territories residential sites in the 2014-15 Land Sale Programme will be sold by public tender, the Lands Department announced today.

Tsuen Wan Town Lot No. 393 at Yeung Uk Road has a site area of about 14,160 square metres and is partly designated for non-industrial (excluding private residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes and private residential purposes.

The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 59,472 and 99,120 sq m, of which no more than 59,755 sq m are for non-industrial purposes and no more than 39,365 sq m are for private residential purposes.

The developer must build at least 790 residential units.

Sha Tin Town Lot No. 598 at Hang Kwong Street, Ma On Shan has a site area of about 3,100 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 6,415 and 10,692 sq m.

The developer must build at least 180 residential units.

The tender invitation for both lots will open from June 20 to August 8. Final conditions of sale will be uploaded to the department's website by June 20, when the tenders’ particulars will also be gazetted.
