Hong Kong Airlines increases staff salaries by 3.8%
The increase follows a commendable operational recovery in 2023.
Hong Kong Airlines has announced a 3.8% salary increase for eligible employees, including flight crew and ground staff.
Technical staff, meanwhile, will receive an average increase of 5%. Pilots will also see up to a 5% increase in their flying hourly rate.
The hike will take effect on 1 February.
The increase follows a commendable operational recovery in 2023, with the reinstatement of 25 destinations and an 85% passenger load factor achieved over the past year.
The increments are based on performance appraisals conducted in 2023.
