HK Express launches intermodal pass for ferry and flight transactions
Travellers can now purchase both ferry and flight tickets in one transaction.
HK Express Airways upgraded its air and ferry pass services to ‘HK Express Intermodal Pass’, partnering with Chu Kong Passenger Transport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) shuttle bus.
Travellers can now purchase both ferry and flight tickets in one transaction and complete flight check-in via the upstream check-in service.
This will allow them to obtain boarding passes at HZMB and check through baggage with no further immigration, customs clearance and boarding procedures.
HK Express Intermodal Pass holders will also be exempted from the Hong Kong Air Passenger Departure Tax charge and will not incur additional baggage fees for ferry or shuttle transfers.
Additionally, the upgrade extends to Zhuhai Port, connecting the five major cities in the GBA, including Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhongshan, and Dongguan.
