Cathay Pacific introduces new payment option

Customers can book available seats on any flight with instant confirmation.

Cathay Pacific is launching its brand new payment option Miles Plus Cash, which will give its customers flexibility to pay using a mix of cash and its loyalty programme Asia Miles upon booking seats on the airline’s websites, the company announced.

Through Miles Plus Cash, customers can book any available seat option on any flight, including on Cathay Pacific’s partner airlines, with instant confirmation.

Cathay Pacific director customer Simon Large noted that whilst international travel is currently subdued, there will be huge demand to travel once conditions improve and the new payment option will be valuable to customers.

“We are always looking for ways to make both earning and burning Miles simpler and enabling customers to have more flexibility. Miles Plus Cash is an excellent example of this. It is a very useful function that we believe makes travel planning and purchasing a whole lot easier,” Large said.
