AirAsia X launches new Hong Kong-Kuala Lumpur route

The new route will operate larger widebody aircraft.

AirAsia X (AAX) launched its first Hong Kong-Kuala Lumpur flight.

The Hong Kong-Kuala Lumpur route is AAX’s 22nd in Hong Kong and 8th in Greater China. 

The new route will also operate larger widebody aircraft, providing more passenger capacity.

In its inaugural Hong Kong-Kuala Lumpur flight, AAX used the A330 aircraft with a maximum seating capacity of 377 seats.

The flight departed from Hong Kong International Airport at 3:30 pm and landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (Terminal 2) at 7:25 pm local time.
